Sept. 30 - Harvey's

Had a wonderful surprise! Best Kol friends, Nandini & Sharmista, picked me up, treated me to a fantastic lunch, set off across the city to experience a bit of Durja Puja...more on that soon, I promise....& then coffee @ a huge mall 5 km from my house. It was fantastic after sticking quite close to my home, learning the basic day-to-day for the psat week or so.

We ate at a very contemporary spot called Harvey's. It's new - only about a year old - & was top notch service & food! We shared fish kebabs for a starter w/ onion salad & mint chutney, followed by prawn marsala, Bengali butter chicken, naan, rice w/ cloves, & fresh lime sodas!







The mall was huge - three stories, a mix of Indian & western shops, plus two floors of large restaurants, including an all you can eat Bengali buffet my friends say is very good! Everyone was in great spirits, dressed for the holidays, the mall in lights! An extremely fun day!
