Sept. 26 - Neat "Ah-ha" moment

There's a time/temp sign on the Bank of India & I'd commented to the guards @ the Center for several days running how hot it was registering - the first day I visited it was 36º C, the next 38.9 C & they concurred that it had really gotten hot!
I was downtown for the first time in a week or so and thought to myself, "Wow, the weather has shifted...it's much cooler, even without the nice breeze blowing the last time I walked to the American Center...I wonder if the monsoons are over?" I actually laughed out loud when I turned the bend & saw the sign - it read 38.6º! Nope - it wasn't the change in seasons yet...it was the change in me! Isn't it fascinating how quickly the human body, & mind, I suppose, can adjust?!
