Sept. 29 - I Was Raised Well!

Short & sweet....I value my upbringing more & more as the years pass! Thanks to my parents I know how to make a pretty darn good dinner from fresh vegetables, which is extremely helpful here since there are very few processed foods. Do you want spaghetti sauce? Better know how to blanch tomatoes so the skin comes off easily, how to get all the bitter seeds out most efficiently, what order to add the herbs, how long to simmer...cuz there isn't any to buy in the store!

P.S. Do you still like creamcicles, Dad? I've seen so many sweets with orange & cream here...think of you every time!
